What Information Do We Collect?

We collect information from you when you visit our app, register on our MukminApps, subscribe to our Service. We collect Personal Data (such as name, gender, postal address, birthdate, telephone number, facsimile number, email address, credit/debit card information, photos etc.) when you voluntarily provide such information to us as and when required, such as :-

• Phone Numbers
• Email Addresses

• Personal information that you provide to third party sites such as Facebook, Apple or Google accounts, when you use these MukminApps to register, or log in to, your account.

How Do We Use The Information We Collect?

• As an ongoing effort to better understand and serve the users of the MukminApps Services, such as any Activity of your users, e.g., your favorite surahs, your word search in the Quran or any bookmarks you placed in the Quran function in MukminApps
• We may often conduct research on its customer demographics, interests and behavior based on the Personal Data and other information provided to us. This research may be compiled and analysed on an aggregate basis
• To organize any contests, promotions, surveys or design any new additional features
• To notify and update you about changes to the App, such as software and service updates, and to answer your questions. Any changes to the settings in MukminApps to understand and study the attitude of users regarding the favorite photos and types of articles that users like you are interested in.
• To send any notifications about any activities and/or updates related to MukminApps by sending periodic emails
• To improve in a better direction and be able to provide a quick and immediate response to meet the needs of the Islamic consumers

We also collect information from mobile devices for a better user experience, although these features are completely optional:

• Location (GPS): We may ask you to provide us with certain identifiable location information that can be used to improve our Kiblat accuracy and prayer time’s location.
• Your GPS location is required when you use the App to get prayer times, as well as to get the correct Kiblat direction. This is based on your geolocation information – latitude, longitude and altitude as delivered by your device – or the city you have manually selected. With this GPS information you can also use the Mosque search function to find out the nearest Mosque / Surau / prayer place around you
• This obtained information may be uploaded to Company servers and/or Service Provider servers or it may be stored briefly on your device. You can enable or disable access to this information at any time, through your Device settings.
• Camera (Pictures): Granting camera permission allows the user to use Kiblat service by way of augmented reality. However, you can safely deny camera permissions for this app.

MukminApps may also collect, process, disclose and use your information to comply with relevant laws and our legal obligations, and for other purposes which MukminApps may notify you. We may also disclose user information about you to government officials or law enforcement officers who have legal authority over which we are required to comply with the law to protect our rights and interests or third parties, the safety of the public or any person, to prevent or discontinue any unlawful activity or any activity that is unethical in our view in our sole discretion.

How long do we store your information?

Your account information including your App settings and preferences is saved from the day once you registered an account on the App, and we will keep this information as long as you use this MukminApps. If your account has been inactive for 12 months, we have the absolute discretion to delete your personal information. However, we may continue to store data for archiving in the event of a dispute may arise. When you use the Kiblat direction search feature and the Prayer Time feature, we will only store your most recent prayer location information to expedite the action with the device you have linked to your MukminApps account. We will delete all previous prayer location information. We do not store your prayer location information if you do not create/register an account with us. We do not store any other geolocation information used by other features of the App such as Kiblat, Halal Restaurants or Mosque finder.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

We have various security measures in place to protect and prevent the loss or misuse of your personal information. We will do our best to protect your personal information, using various security measures to maintain the security of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit or access your personal information. We offer secure server usage. After a transaction, your personal information (credit card, social security number, financial, etc.) is never stored on file, but we cannot guarantee the complete security of information transmitted over the Internet.

Can I update or amend or correct my information?

For some reasons, you wish to change personal information in an account that has been registered in MukminApps, we may ask you to provide a unique password (as additional security measures) to verify your identity before giving you profile access or making corrections. It should be remembered, that you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your unique password and account information at all times.
